Healthcare staffing marketplace including dental temp work.
www.stynt.com ↗Dental assistant — Support team is quick to respond, app is easy to use. Easy to be flexible when choosing how many or little days I want to work. Pay rates are really good!
Very good — Very good
Support Coordinator — Yes
Dental assistant — I love Stynt if like to work they will bless you
.. — .
Mrs alvarez — Its the best app to work with, i love it
Dental Assitant — Great app for finding flexible dental jobs. It’s easy to use, and I can quickly connect with offices. Highly recommended for dental professionals!
Dental Assistant — Lots of offers
Great app — Great giving jobs
Dental Assistant — I’ve had such a positive experience working with Stynt! As a dental assistant, I love the flexibility it offers. I can choose when and where I work, which has been a game-changer for my work-life balance. The app is very easy to use, and I’ve connected with several amazing dental offices that treat their team with respect. Payment is quick and transparent, and I’ve never had an issue. Highly recommend Stynt for any dental professionals looking for freedom and great opportunities.
The recurring complaints worth keeping an eye on — the dissent behind the ratings.
Exploits you to the end — Why. Just why
Hard to get paid — Still waiting a week later to get paid and I’ve heard people wait longer.
Verification — The verification process is difficult
Stynt honest review — Not enough postings and most postings are in NH and I’m licensed in MA
Bad — No benefits. Dosent provide insurance. I been sick for 2 weeks I don’t have enough to pay for my own insurance. I been working very ill and hard on this stynt app… I couldn’t cancel my day because they will suspend the account not caring how ill you get . A lot of rude dentist and stynt isn’t understanding when you want to leave due to the unprofessional ppl they will still make you stay and tolerate being mistreated
No Jobs — No jobs in my area
Time management — A lot of error's w/ clocking in/out w/ time being one hour behind/always issue w/ the system. Also when contacting Stynt directly via phone, you can never get in contact w/ someone directly and when you do leave a message they take forever to get back to you.! Wish there were ALOT more jobs available to choose from but overall great being able to pickup work w.e it’s needed.! Also, when trying to cancel a job, at times, even canceling 1-2days after applying in advance & job not approved yet , the system glitches and does not allow you to cancel. You logg out the app, delete the app, and give it some time before redownloading it again. Logg back in, and try to cancel again before the office approves, and still dosnt allow you to which again “IT issue” and it’s still not fixed even after reporting it 1-2days in advance.
No jobs — I can’t view any jobs but I keep getting emails saying jobs are filling up around me. I can’t even apply to any because I don’t see any. Not sure if it’s just my area but there’s no way of telling.
Dental hygienists and assistants present a markedly divided picture of Stynt, though complaints substantially outweigh praise. Positive users highlight flexibility, responsive support, straightforward pay, and ease of use, particularly valuing the ability to choose shifts on their own terms. However, persistent criticism centers on payment delays and processing failures, sparse job availability in many regions, technical glitches preventing job cancellations and bidding, poor responsiveness from customer service, lack of benefits or insurance coverage, and an asymmetrical power dynamic favoring employers over workers—including job cancellations with minimal notice and rigid policies that discourage cancellations even during illness. Several users report being unable to complete verification, view available positions, or receive payment despite working, while others characterize the company as exploitative and dismissive of worker concerns.
Totally agree, it’s such a solid career for flexibility and stability. Once you’re licensed you can pick up temp RDH shifts pretty easily through apps like Stynt, which makes balancing work and mom life a lot smoother.
Yeah most docs have a work-back clause after selling, pretty common. I’d hang tight if the vibe stays good but start easing into some temping to see what’s out there. I pick up extra DA shifts through Stynt when offices change hands, makes the transitions way less stressful.
Just keep it simple and frame it like you were temping to gain variety and find the right office culture. I usually just say I picked up different temp roles through Stynt to stay busy while figuring out what kind of team and systems fit best. Keeps it positive and shows you were still active in the field.
I’ve been temping full time for a while now as a DA and it’s honestly been great for flexibility and trying different offices. The only hard part is keeping a steady schedule at first, but once you find your rhythm it’s solid. I usually pick up shifts through Stynt since it’s been consistent in my area.
Yeah I had a similar experience temping there, nice team but definitely a lot of questionable perio calls and production pressure. I only pick up shifts like that now if I can verify their protocols first. Been using Stynt for temp gigs and it helps me see which offices actually let you practice ethically before accep…
In north FL I usually see temps pulling around 600–800 daily depending on procedure mix and flow, sometimes higher if covering emergencies or multi-day blocks. Rates vary a lot by area and if supplies or lab costs fall on you. I pick up shifts through Stynt now and the typical posted rates there line up with that rang…
I pick up temp DA shifts around NYC pretty often and most offices I’ve worked in post through Stynt. It usually has a steady flow of short notice and planned shifts, so it’s worth checking while you’re in town.
Totally agree, passing around personal numbers feels outdated and kind of risky. I’ve been picking up RDH temp shifts through Stynt for a while and it’s nice not having to exchange numbers or deal with random Facebook messages since everything stays in the app. Having that layer of separation definitely keeps things m…
Aspen - worth the money? — I was recently “laid off” in a chaotic betrayal of a way, but that’s another story and not the point of this post. I worked for the same practice for 5 years, have a great resume and interview well but I’m not getting call backs on indeed. I did a stynt shift at our local Aspen and was really surprised, I liked the ma…
Same here, I’ve bounced around a lot while temping and you can really feel the difference when there’s no natural light. When I pick up shifts through Stynt I always hope for an op with a window, makes those long back-to-back prophies feel a lot lighter.
Totally get that, I went through the same thing and temping saved my sanity for a while. I pick up shifts through Stynt now which keeps things flexible while I figure out what kind of office vibe I actually want long term.
Dental Assistant Temp Agencies in NY — Hey! I’m looking for a great dental assisting temp agency in NY. I have a few questions: Does anyone have experience with the Stynt app or Dental works app? How’d the onboarding process go? Getting temp jobs (easy/difficult)? How were you paid W2? 1099? Any companies to recommend? I’m in school and need the flexibilit…
