What keeps earning five stars
Such a beautiful office with lovely decor! The doctor and team were absolutely amazing. I am so grateful for your kindness and professionalism, and I really appreciated the opportunity to work with you. I would gladly come back if you ever need an extra set of hands. Thank you!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Having worked at Airway Dentistry, I gained a unique perspective on the level of care and expertise this practice provides. What impressed me most was their commitment to finding the true root cause of a patient’s concerns rather than simply treating symptoms. Their approach to airway-focused dentistry considers the whole picture—whether challenges stem from nasal obstruction, mouth breathing, dental alignment, or other underlying factors that can impact overall health and quality of life. One of the things that sets this office apart is the amount of time and attention given to new patients. There is no sense of being rushed. The doctors and team take the time to thoroughly evaluate, educate, and create a plan that is tailored to each individual. The team itself is exceptional. The depth of knowledge, willingness to help, and genuine care for patients and one another creates an environment that is both professional and welcoming. It was a privilege to work alongside people who are truly passionate about advancing airway dentistry and helping patients achieve better long-term health. I have a deep appreciation for the core values of this practice and the standard of care they uphold. They are helping pave the way for a more comprehensive understanding of dentistry’s role in overall wellness. I Highly recommend.

Cloud Dentistry is a very convenient platform for dental professionals. It makes it easy to find shifts, communicate with offices, and manage schedules. The system is straightforward and efficient. Great tool for hygienists and dental assistants looking for flexible opportunities.

Dissent

The other side

The recurring complaints worth keeping an eye on — the dissent behind the ratings.

By far the WORST temp service out there. They permanently banned my account for leaving a job early. I was not feeling well that day, and in addition to that, the office I was at that day was dirty and the staff were rude. There was one occasion where I was booked at an office that was permanently shut down and when I showed up at the office and found out, cloud did nothing to compensate me for my lost time. Also, I was reported as a no show for a job that I did actually show up for. While my account was suspended and I could not view my profile or view booking requests, a booking request was accepted on my behalf and i was once again reported as a no show. How was that booking request accepted while my account was suspended? Why was I expected to show up for a job that was booked during my suspension? The last booking I had through cloud was Under My Pillow pediatric dentistry and the office is now permanently closed. The place was violating infection control policies and when I pointed this out they were incredibly rude to me. My stomach was hurting, the staff was rude, the office was dirty, and I left early for valid reasons. People are not perfect, they are going to get sick and have bad days. It’s ridiculous to permanently ban someone when leaving a job for legitimate reasons, especially when my past track record was decent. It feels like this agency intentionally did me dirty in multiple occasions.

App is glitching — The app has been glitching for several days and does not allow login after putting in my username and password they stated it is a technical issue and are working to fix it. In the meantime I am unable to respond to booking requests because I can not access due to the technical issue.

Always freezes — App is always freezing and takes forever to load. Always have to close it out multiple times for it to finally work. Very annoying!
PaigeH1014App Store
Disappointing — Doesn’t allow for direct bookings. Multiple professionals apply for listings but offices do not have a time frame to respond or choose someone. If an office proposes a booking to you then you must respond immediately or else you are docked points. Higher listed temps are shown first. As a long time quality temp this setup makes it impossible to plan a schedule in advance. I don’t need or want offices asking me to work I want to choose the days I work that is why I’m a temp.

Moral compass — Department of labor relations complaints have been filed and now it looks as if further legal action is what it will take to get paid for one day of work. I was told by the director of client relations that I should forgo getting paid for my day of hard work and was then promptly and permanently blocked from the app and all communication ghosted. For literally one day of work. I am the top rated dental assistant across the platform according their own calculations and even though I explained that I’m in an unhoused situation, living in my car that I certainly don’t expect anyone to give me special treatment, I was basically ignored and have now for one month still not been paid. I’m not perfect and I’m not saying that contracts aren’t important but this isn’t a court of law and I’m not asking for an envelope of cash, yet for this company no solution that connects me with my hard earned money are even an option. The moral of the story is maybe don’t red line the very people working to keep the company in business and understand that life happens whether we like it or not. Do or don’t use this app but I’m not recommending it, I will get my money for the day I worked and hopeful for the employee who has been working so hard to get me not paid, I hope your efforts in this matter are worth it and your leadership team is on your side. I ask you though is what you are hoping to accomplish here going to make cloud dentistry stronger and on the moral high grounds of business, or is this going to be your understanding that across all social media platforms yours included my campaign to pressure you and keep the public informed may just be a waste of your time and energy and company expenses? I’m not going away, and I’m not sure why any business would go so low just to be unkind and “right. Till my update take care world. Update: still haven’t gotten paid! I hope this place gets shut down soon!

sad — decent app but only protects and cares about offices not the vulnerable professionals they’re supposed to represent.

Jahangir, RDH — Horrible service! All they care about is doctors offices. Doctors are choosing low pay providers and calling us to lower our rates and will try to get us to work at their office. And applied first at many offices and yet the offices have the ability to choose the lowest price person. Have had many office has to go as low as $40. When reporting to cloud services they would not help. And gave a pre fabricated message and no assistance. I would give them ZERO STARS if an option existed!

Need to simplify — They need to simplify this app. I don’t want dental offices messaging me and the points system is wack.

Dental hygienists and assistants express mixed but increasingly critical views of Cloud Dentistry. While many users praise the app's convenience, flexible scheduling, and continuing education offerings, significant recurring complaints undermine confidence in the platform: persistent technical glitches that impede account access and shift management, an opaque points-based algorithmic system that disadvantages workers while protecting office interests, inconsistent enforcement of cancellation penalties heavily weighted against professionals, inadequate compensation for office cancellations, and serious customer service failures including payment disputes, unwarranted account suspensions, and dismissal of legitimate workplace concerns. Users report the company prioritizes client offices over dental professionals, lacks accountability mechanisms, and offers limited recourse when practitioners face no-shows, closures, or workplace safety issues. The cumulative picture suggests Cloud Dentistry functions as a convenience tool but operates with structural inequities that leave vulnerable workers—particularly those relying on gig income—without meaningful protection or fair treatment.

I think the overwork is part of it. I started to write a whole novel explaining the other things, but doing so made me realize it’s either a bad office or not the right fit. I’ve reached out to a couple other offices and put days up on Cloud Dentistry. I’m worried they’re going to guilt trip me about how hard it is to…

Can you use a temp license on Cloud Dentistry? — I spoke with a Cloud Dentistry representative who said as long as they can look up a license they’ll accept it, however, when applying for a temp license (NY), it states somewhere that in order to be approved, the supervisor has to sign off on the application. “Your supervisor must complete this section before you can…
